About Flopdate

Flopdate is a crowdsourced software stability tracker. Think of it as Downdetector meets Rotten Tomatoes — but for software updates. Before you hit that update button, check what other users are experiencing.

How it works

Find your software

Search for the software you just updated or are about to update.

Check the verdict

See how other users rate the latest version — stable, mixed, or unstable.

Cast your vote

Had a good or bad experience? Vote anonymously to help others decide.

Report issues

Voted unstable? Select specific issues you encountered to help the community.

Scoring system

Every version gets a stability score based on the ratio of stable to unstable votes. Once a version reaches 10 votes, it receives a label:

Stable / Mostly Stable

The majority of users report a smooth experience. Safe to update.

Mixed

Opinions are split. Some users have issues, others don’t. Proceed with caution.

Unstable

Many users report problems. Consider waiting for a fix.

Help us grow

Flopdate is built by the community, for the community. Every vote matters — the more people participate, the more reliable the data becomes.
