Terms of Service
Last updated: March 9, 2026
By using Flopdate, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What Flopdate is
Flopdate is a crowdsourced software stability tracker. Users vote anonymously on whether software updates are stable or problematic. Stability scores are calculated from aggregated community votes and are not professional assessments.
No warranty
Flopdate provides community-sourced opinions, not guarantees. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any stability score, label, or issue report. Software update decisions are your own responsibility.
Voting
- Votes are anonymous and cannot be changed or retracted after submission.
- You may vote once per software version. Duplicate votes are automatically prevented.
- Votes must reflect genuine experience. Automated voting, vote manipulation, or coordinated campaigns to skew results are prohibited.
Issue reports
- Custom issue descriptions are moderated before becoming public.
- Do not include personal information, offensive content, or spam in issue descriptions.
- We reserve the right to reject or remove any report, and to delete the associated vote if the report is rejected.
Software requests
- Submitting a request does not guarantee the software will be added.
- Requests are reviewed manually. We reserve the right to approve or reject any request at our discretion.
Prohibited use
You may not:
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with Flopdate.
- Attempt to manipulate votes or circumvent deduplication mechanisms.
- Scrape or bulk-download data from Flopdate without permission.
- Use the service for any illegal purpose.
Content ownership
Stability data, scores, and aggregated statistics are owned by Flopdate. User-submitted votes and reports become part of the aggregated dataset upon submission. Software names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Flopdate after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
